Friedlinde Gurr-Hirsch is state secretary in the Ministry for Rural Affairs and Consumer Protection.
Friedlinde Gurr-Hirsch was born on 21 June 1954 in Untergruppenbach.
At the teacher training college for vocational schools she studied economics, politics and protestant religion and is a state-approved housekeeper.
Friedlinde Gurr-Hirsch has been a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg since April 2001, representing the constituency of Eppingen. She has already once been state secretary in the Ministry for Rural Affairs, Nutrition and Consumer Protection, namely between 2004 and 2011. After this she was deputy leader of the parliamentary CDU in the state parliament between 2011 and May 2016.
Since 12 May 2016, Gurr-Hirsch is once again state secretary in the Ministry for Rural Affairs and Consumer Protection.
She has been married since 1978 and has three children.
